GIS Officer
The GIS Officer will service the GIS requirements for a multidisciplinary international team of mining and mineral professionals.
The GIS Officer will be responsible for the management of all GIS spatial data within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Spatial Data Management including:
- Catalogue GIS data
- Data transmission
- QA/QC
- Manage and manipulate data from multiple geodetic projections
- GIS documentation and procedures
- Generation of high quality GIS output
Minimum Requirements
- +5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in geological, environmental or mining
- Highly proficient in MS Office
- Ability to provide services to multiple owners divisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Mapinfo software a key advantage
- Tertiary qualifications highly desirable
